The team was led by the likes of Russell Hogue, Cory Bast, Chad Cavanagh, Adam Armstrong, and Captain Todd Row up front, and Robin Sochan, Scott Roles, and Nick Robinson on the backend. Mark Cairns and Mike Lencucha split the games in net for the Axemen. 🅰️🪓 We caught up with Acadia Axemen netminder Brayden Peters to discuss his season ending injury, his ongoing rehab, and his experience thus far at Acadia University. Peters said, “I just want to say thank you to the Axemen fans for all your support for both myself and for the team. It was awesome getting to talk to a bunch of you in the stands after I got injured and the support from everyone was amazing. 📣 🅰️🪓 The Acadia Axemen are proud to welcome, from Moncton, New Brunswick, goaltender Nicholas Sheehan, to the hockey program.Sheehan starred for the Edmundston Blizzard this season and was named goaltender of the year in the MHL.
