The Axemen played 2 strong road games this weekend but come out on the wrong side of 5-3 and 5-4 losses to UNB and Moncton.

The team returns home now after playing their last 5 on the road, to face SMU on Wednesday night in their last game before the holiday break.

UdeM is able to kill off the 5 on 3 advantage for Acadia.

Now we have a whistle for offsetting roughing penalties as MacDonald will go for Acadia and Arsenault for UdeM with 14:43 to play in the 2nd. 4 on 4 action.

In Halifax tonight, the Acadia Axemen fall 3-2 in an OT shootout to the Dal Tigers.

Acadia's goals came from Adam McMaster & Peyton Hoyt.

Final shots on goal Acadia 69 Dal 16. Dalhousie goalie Nicholas Chenard with 67 saves.

Acadia earns an important point in the standings.

Acadia gets the important 2 points in the standings with a 3-2 overtime victory over StFX. The two teams are now tied with Acadia holding a game in hand.

The Axemen will travel to Halifax tomorrow to play the Dal Tigers at the Halifax Forum at 7pm.
