📣 🅰️🪓 The Acadia Axemen are proud to welcome, from Moncton, New Brunswick, goaltender Nicholas Sheehan, to the hockey program.Sheehan starred for the Edmundston Blizzard this season and was named goaltender of the year in the MHL. 🅰️🪓 Today’s #WaybackWednesday takes us back 99 years ago, to the 1924-25 edition of the Acadia men’s hockey team!Led by Annapolis County’s multi-sport athlete Wallace (Wally) Barteaux. The team was coached by Ted Stackhouse and captained by Fred Wright.
