🅰️🪓 Today’s #WaybackWednesday takes us back 99 years ago, to the 1924-25 edition of the Acadia men’s hockey team!Led by Annapolis County’s multi-sport athlete Wallace (Wally) Barteaux. The team was coached by Ted Stackhouse and captained by Fred Wright. Other top scorers included Robert “Burnie” Eaton and Robert and Raymond Johnson.The team would play just two games in the MIAA conference that season, defeating both Kings’s College and Mount Allison.Barteaux would go on to be inducted into the Acadia Hockey Honour Roll and in 1996 the Acadia Sports Hall of Fame.#ForeverAnAxemen 🅰️🪓 ...
